The Plott is beautiful. How is he with other dogs?
Hey Scott - Isaac the Plott was picked up as a stray so we really don't know how he is with other dogs. I can tell you this...we went out there yesterday to save Harold, the black Lab because we have an affinity for Labs. But when we met Isaac, we really had to think about it. He has the sweetest disposition. Even in the horrible conditions of the shelter, he was sweet and very gentle. We ended up taking Harold because he had been there his alloted time and was probably going to be put down. I saw Isaac again today when I took Harold back for his shots..and stopped to pet him. Do you know much about Plotts? They are the state dog of NC.
Our shelter is very old and very small so when it gets full, which is practically every day, they start putting dogs down who have been there 5 days or more. Isaac came in on Monday so he only has until this coming Monday...then he's living on borrowed time.
