Owner Surrender - Transylvania County Animal Shelter, Brevard NC (Asheville area)

Big BoyThis bundle of love needs a hero...fast!  Big Boy is what the shelter thinks may be an American Bull Dog /Hound mix who was loved and well cared for by his owner. Sadly, his owner has been hospitalized with health issues and can no longer care for his four-legged friend. Now, through no fault of his own, Big Boy is alone and wondering why his world has suddenly been turned upside down.

To make matters worse, since he was surrendered by his owner, Big Boy does not get the usual 5-day pass and can be euthanized at any time.

The shelter workers report that he is a warm, cuddly dog with a friendly personality, despite his sad surroundings.

He is about 60 lbs and about 25 inches tall at the shoulder.

He has been neutered and is up to date on all his immunizations.

Big Boy needs your help. He just wants to be with people again.

Hello Carol,

How sad....thank you for trying to help Big Boy. I hope some kind person or family wanting a dog companion, will come to Big Boy's rescue and saves his life.
