Brevard North Carolina Real Estate Blog: Fourth of July in the Mountains

Fourth of July in the Mountains

FlagThere's just something special about celebrating Independence Day in a small town like Brevard, NC.

Maybe it's because around here, people still stop and speak to each other on the street. And when they ask how you're doing, they really want to know. Maybe it's the strong sense of community that can be hard to find in a big city. Whatever it is, it's a great place to be as we celebrate the freedoms we all enjoy.

If you're lucky enough to be in western North Carolina over the holiday weekend, take a day and come on over to Brevard. The day will start with a 5K run and end with a Fireworks Extravaganza. In between is the Arts Council's 36th Annual Fine Arts & Craft Showcase, the annual classic car show, kids activites, live music, a bike parade, the traditional reading of the Declaration of Independence and more.

If you're looking for a slice of Americana this Fourth of July weekend, you'll find it on Main Street in Brevard, NC. For more details, visit http://www.brevardnc.org/fourthjuly.php Come see us...or look for us on You Tube!
